Me Made May 2023 – Week 4

Day 23 Dress: Burdastyle 04/2013 no.129B, sewn Oct 2022 I wasn’t sure about this dress when I made it but I am coming to like it Day 24 Almost missed posting today. Here i am in my super soft spoxxy nightgown. nightgown: stitch upon a time (SUAT) – Spoxxy, sewn Oct 2022 Day 25 I was trying to not do any repeats, but I just love these shorts and wear them alllll the time. (I wore them on day 11 as well) Top: just a walmart cami Bottoms: Made For Mermaids - Mila shorts, sewn Jan 2021 Day 26 Dress: Sinclair – Delta, Sewn April 2023, unblogged as of yet. I'm wearing this dress today because I'm not sure how I feel about it. I don't know if I like it or not. So I have to wear it to see. I was a tester for this pattern and initially was told to use a heavy knit. So I used Ponte. Now bonus, this ponte has been in my fabric stash forever, but I feel like it might be too heavy for the pattern. I feel a little "lunch lady" in it. It is my fav color though. and I have seen some really pretty Delta dresses come from this pattern on others. we'll see if I keep it or chop it up. Day 27 It’s hot, hot, and more hot. Initially I was wearing the black/white dress -  (not memade but thrifted) & I felt like a million bucks. I asked my husband if it was too much for home depot plant shopping, he said "damn you look good." woohoo! BUT then the 17 year old came up and said "no way mom, it's too much." so I changed. sadface. Dress: patterns for pirates - Sunshine dress, which isn't so voom voom in your face, but equally fun to wear. Sewn 2017 – 2020, oops. lol. Day 28 Bennie and I laying low today. It's a rest day. Cheeto is snuggling too. Nightgown: Ottobre 02/2017 No.11 ~ T-Shirt dress, Sewn Oct 2022 Day 29 I was in my sewing room all day today mending, embroidering, sewing, fixing, etc. And I am exhausted. I may have napped from 8pm-10pm, but don't care, I needed it. These peglegs are fresh off the machine. Top: petite stitchery - Swanky Tank (free pattern!), Sewn Nov. 2022 Bottoms: patterns for pirates - PegLegs (also free pattern!), Sewn just today! May 29, 2023, but unblogged as of yet. Day 30 It’s hot, hot, and more hot still. Is the hot ever ending?  Wisconsin is not usually 90s for 2 weeks in May.  Anyway,  Miss K drug me out and about today and I am utterly exhausted now. Dress: Sinclair – Dakota, Sewn Aug 2022 Day 31!! We’ve finally made it to the end. This may be the end of memademay, but I'm memadeeveryday. Top: Love Notions – Rhapsody, Sewn Jan 2018 Bottoms: Made for Mermaids - Chloe skirt, Sewn Sept 2019 And that is the end of MeMadeMay for this year .  I loved seeing everyone's makes and I definitely saved some to make for myself.   Happy Sewing!!
