May 7th - Sunny, with a high of 80°F (27°C)
I'm not sure if this will stay in my wardrobe.
I love the top in a print but in this fabric it shows every lump and bump.
Thrifted Gap jeans (that I rarely wear)
May 8th - PM Showers, with a high of 77°F (25°C)
May 9th - Thunderstorms, with a high of 66°F (19°C)
Laid around the whole day. Wednesdays are my lazy, catch up with energy day;
Usually the week hits me hard on Wednesday.
May 10th - Mostly Cloudy, with a high of 62°F (17°C)
Jalie 3677 – Helene Cardi (not yet blogged, just finished)
Old Navy Tee (first RTW top I’ve worn in ages and I can’t stand the fit! Bust and armpit issues; I put this top in the donate pile after it was washed from this day)
May 11th - Rain, with a high of 43°F (6°C)
Repeat of the 8th.
May 12th - Mostly Cloudy, with a high of 61°F (16°C)
Tee made with my silhouette cameo
Jacket is RTW
May 13th - Cloudy, with a high of 68°F (20°C)
As you can see I wear my Ginger Jeans a lot. I actually am in the middle of making a second pair but having some fit issues I didn’t have with this pair.
Also, I ditched the Old Navy RTW top after wearing it on Thursday, I just couldn't’ stand the fit and feel of it. I need more plain tees in my wardrobe. I will most likely ditch the black New Look cowl tank too. I like having that top in a solid but don’t feel it is very flattering like with a print.
I “fell" off” of MMM a little bit this week. It usually happens each year. By week 2 I’m in a slump and don’t enjoy daily pictures. The extra work of “what should I wear” is taxing instead of just grabbing things. However, I love how MMM has allowed me to wear things I have, and try not to repeat. It has shown me some gaps in my wardrobe already and some things I’m ok to get rid of.
