Man is it awesome - now what to make with it ;-)Kristin at SunnySewing.comhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15445370690561159996noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5712973868701470983.post-7054419365267218612013-09-20T05:59:27.360-05:002013-09-20T05:59:27.360-05:00Ooh. I came across it yesterday in a fitting book and I think it may be what I need since everything I sew with a sleeve eventually becomes sleeveless so I can lift my arms properly.
The bird fabric is by Charley Harper, who usually draws those geometric birds/nature as art. But you can now get it in many different kinds of fabrics from Birch Fabrics: http://www.birchfabrics.com/Birch_Fabric_Collection_s/1817.htmAlyssahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14204598010453409678noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5712973868701470983.post-2118749295658035142013-09-16T08:18:54.668-05:002013-09-16T08:18:54.668-05:00Thanks Shirley Ann! I don't think my arms have been that thin since high school! LOL I guess we need to keep the sleeves in mind when sewing up Ottobre patterns for women.Sewing by Shirleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14073228812439584262noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5712973868701470983.post-65333576468117412532013-09-13T16:18:45.647-05:002013-09-13T16:18:45.647-05:00Thanks Jane! LOL. just kidding, sort of. But I did have to wait for FabricMart to get me the fabric. It was a matter of an hour after the mailman came by that I cut into it (prewashing/tracing took up that hour).

I don't know how you have such self-control!
